"The EEDN team came to grips with the complexities of the site and understood the value of the key partners as stakeholders in delivering the LCH. Their expertise and detailed knowledge of the science space combined with a highly professional responsive approach produced a great result."

Residential
We recognise that every project has unique complexities - in that way, no project is different.
We build better buildings and enable our Clients and Teams to deliver the project vision.
Sustainability at the core
NetZero or Low Carbon sustainable design cannot be achieved as a bolt-on but rather it be central to the design and the design philosophy throughout the stages.
Similarly, the application of Well principles is relatively new across the sector, with no major new building yet achieving both BREEAM and WELL metrics.
There is, therefore a need for change in approach from both the design but also by the clients in their operational approaches.
1
Project Management
From masterplanning to completion, we establish the project's governance and lead the process and the team. We meticulously plan the execution and plan the project and contingency. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the sector which allows us to put together advise such as procurement and contract strategies, benchmarking and support business case development.
2
Contract Administration & Employer's Agent
We have a robust Contract Administration process, whether under JCT or NEC, using a collaborative yet rigorous approach, providing certainty and surety to our Clients and support within our team.
3
Project Audits
They are amongst the most useful tools in the disposal of any Project Manager, Investor and Developer who wants to make sure that projects are running efficiently and that risks are identified early on. We carry out our Project Audits in line with the principles of the Association for Project Management and our diverse experience in project, design, and commercial
management of projects.
4
Advisory
We provide additional advisory services to our residential clients that includes business case development, outline development appraisals as well as support for soft landings and operational performance post handover.
Client-side secondments
We support some of our clients by allocating some of our staff on an interim basis to work internally for a defined period and role.
This brings an immediate benefit to our clients' teams by increasing the ability level of their internal delivery, whilst at the same time maintaining the head count.
Specialist services
Project audits
We help Clients perform a Project or Programme audit by analysing project data across the Commercial, Project Management and Design spectrum. Our analysis assesses the building's compliance with the design requirements, brief and construction standards.
Our team, reports back to the Client on these areas and provides a detailed advice for an objective overview of the project and provides valuable information to Stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve.
Risk management
Managing both risk and opportunities requires a collaborative process and a buy in from the stakeholders. We ensure that we embed risk-conscious behaviours from the outset, infiltrating all areas of the project.
Proactive mitigation enables engagement and allows us to turn certain risks into opportunities by promoting a culture of sharing and collaboration.
Project recovery
Sometimes projects don't go as planned, despite best efforts. Bringing in an exteral person to the team to take a hollistic view and formulate a road to recovery is key to unlocking the recovery.
At EEDN, we bring both Project and Design Management principles to the table for Project Recovery as we believe that both skills are required to challenge the norm. We go back to the business case and expected benefits of the project before establishing the list of corrective actions and refocus the team to the new targets.
