Paul Singh

An experienced Commercial Leader with experience across multiple sectors, passionate for an industry that can do better

Paul studied Psychology prior to changing to Quantity Surveying. He undertook a Masters in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, where he received an award for the best dissertation. He also received high commendation in the Hudson Prize in the Society of Construction Law and was published in their Construction Law Journal.

Throughout his 15-year career as a Commercial Manager, Paul has successfully led many high-profile projects, including numerous claims for private and commercial clients. With a diverse portfolio in Property Development and Management, Paul has led a family portfolio of 70+ properties in London, including developing virgin land from inception to completion.

His passion for both the construction industry and business in general led him to join several boards in organisations either driving philanthropic operations, such as the Constructors Livery and YMCA, or tackling the most important issues in the construction industry such as the CIOB.

He is also an elected Councillor and Policy Lead for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) for the City of London Corporation (COLC) and sits on the Advisory Committee of the City of London Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Heart of the City. The latter is an organisation, funded by the COLC and Bank of England, that drives SMEs to become responsible businesses.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys the buzz of finding and flipping hidden property gems in the South East. He also enjoys cooking for friends, having been trained by Chefs in Italy. His reading habits are almost exclusive classic Italian novels with the exception of Construction and Management books.
